6 easy steps to new windows

Bay Windows

Evander’s Bay Windows are an excellent addition to any home with space for them. A bay window conversion can add much more light and space to a room, even though the amount of room added is relatively small. With a bay window, light can enter the room from three different angles, maximising the daylight and therefore making the room appear larger.

Replacement bay windows from Evander are available with aluminium or uPVC frames, and each type has a range of colours and finishes to choose from, allowing you to customise so that it suits your home.

Casement Windows

One of our most popular window styles is our casement windows. These windows can be configured in multiple ways, with different static and opening panels depending on your needs.

Available with aluminium, timber or uPVC frames, we can help with replacement casement windows on existing properties or brand new ones if you are building a whole new home, or perhaps adding an extension. All of our windows are made to order, so they’ll fit your home perfectly.

French Windows

French windows (or Flying Mullion windows) remain a relatively popular choice, particularly for those who have an excellent view from their home. French Windows are also useful for those who would like a wide opening for escape in case of fire.

These windows open in or out from the centre but have no column in the middle. This allows for a larger opening and uninterrupted views. French Windows are available in aluminium, timber or uPVC, with each window being made-to-order based on the measurements and specification required.

Sliding Sash Windows

For those with older or more traditionally-styled properties, Evander’s sash windows come with a great choice of frame types and finishes. Available with either PVC, aluminium or timber frames, our sliding sash windows are constructed to be highly secure whilst still providing a classic look.

Sash windows open by sliding the bottom panel upwards, or the top panel downwards. They’re great for saving space, as the window does not have to swing outwards or inwards. Some older properties with existing windows may be listed, or be protected as part of a conservation area or similar. Where replacement sash windows are required for homes like these, you may need to meet certain criteria which can be obtained from your local planning authority.

Tilt and Turn Windows

Here at Evander we offer aluminium and uPVC tilt and turn windows in a wide range of opening configurations. Tilt and turn windows are versatile and handy for when you want the choice of opening the window from the top (so that it tilts inwards a small way) or opening the window from the side, as you would with regular casement windows.

Tilt and turn windows (also known as turn and tilt windows) are available in a range of plain colours and wood-effect finishes, so you can match your windows to the style of your home.
